A couple of future tours have come to my attention during the past couple of days. The Shins are playing at Splendour in the Grass (which I won't be attending due to its distance from here and because I will have to work) but it is possible they will do a side show in Melbourne. I'll keep my eye out for details in the coming days.
Also, Evermore are playing at the Palais. I quite like Evermore. I saw them support Split Enz last year and I listen to their music a bit, but the reason I'd go to this gig is to see the two support acts as well who are both brilliant. Firstly, Aqualung who has just put out a new album. I still haven't heard much of his stuff but I'd go just to hear Left Behind. Also, Kate Miller-Heidke is supporting and I like her stuff a lot. If I can find an interested person to come along I might go. Hey, I might go alone anyway.
