I've already written an entry about duets (after Kat suggested it the first time) but as always, I think of other songs to list in the days following particular entries so I thought I'd write another, since Kat again mentioned the idea. I do like Good to Be On the Road Back Home Again which is a duet between Cornershop and Paula Frazer (an alt/country singer who has collaborated with a fair few other artists as well. Took a bit of effort to find that out... suppose I could have got out of my seat and checked the liner notes to the CD!).
In addition, here are some other tracks I've remembered.
Set the Fire to the Third Bar, Martha Wainwright and Snow Patrol
This is a great track from the album Eyes Open. It's beautiful and affecting, thanks to the chorus in particular. Martha on anything is great so of course this was going to be a good song.
Concrete Sky, Beth Orton and Ryan Adams
Ryan Adams wrote This One's Gonna Bruise for Daybreaker, but he sings backing vocals (which I think counts as a duet in my book anyway) on this track as well.
Angels' Heap, Tim and Neil Finn
Does it count as a duet if they record an entire album together? I don't care, it's my blog. It's a great song. I first heard this on the Neil Finn Live at the St James album but it's from their first album together.
Two Of Us, Josh Pyke and Bob Evans
Another cheat I suppose, since they haven't recorded this (yet) but they did play this lovely little Beatles cover at their gig at the Northcote Social Club back in April last year.

Have you heard Bjork and PJ Harvey's version of 'Leaving on a Jet Plane'?
