On a far less positive note, here are a number of minor complaints which hampered our complete enjoyment of the evening.
1. The traffic accident on St Kilda road that meant we missed the first half of Kate Miller-Heidke's set.
2. The fact that it was an 'all ages' gig and hence was populated by many fans of The OC (I couldn't work out why there were so many teenage girls in particular, until I remembered Too Late appeared on the soundtrack).
3. The particular group of teenage girls behind us who spent both support act sets sitting there whinging and shrieking for Evermore to come on. After some pointed glares and rude comments from us, they thankfully shut up but not before asking when Across the Universe played, 'what song is this?' My sister and I turned around simultaneously and informed them. One of them kept saying she had a headache to which we responded 'well go outside then'.
4. The lack of orderly queue at the merchandise desk and the rude girl behind me who kept trying to shove her way in front of me just as I got to it.

oh dear... Tori Amos and Regina Spektor are both coming out in the next few months. They will be at Hamer hall and the Regent theatre. Intrested in either gig?
