4. In Our Nature, Jose Gonzalez
A short album but beautifully constructed- slow and relaxing. I'd never though I could hear a cover of Massive Attack's Teardrop that I liked so much. Other highlights include the single Down the Line, Fold and the closing track Cycling Trivialities which is just wonderful. I'm really looking forward to seeing the live performance of this material early in the New Year.
3. In Rainbows, Radiohead
The long awaited follow up to Hail to the Thief, which picks up where OK Computer left off in many ways... the album everyone had been waiting for. While there was a lot to like about Kid A, Amnesiac and Hail, this album is classic Radiohead in many ways. There's lots of variety too, from the slower but complex tracks like House of Cards to the crazy Bodysnatchers and the opener 15 Step. Full of great songs and worth many repeated listens.
