7 Worlds Collide

There is so much to say about this gig and not enough time here in Fox, so I will wait until returning to Melbourne to write a proper discussion of it. But it was a great show, one of the best gigs of all time. The studio album will be much anticipated and there is also going to be a live DVD, judging from the presence of the cameras at the gig. I have a photograph of the set lists and some photos from the gig as well, so I will put those up too at a later date.

Briefly, it was an amazing experience, worth the money and effort to get there and we weren't the craziest fans present. We met some guys from Melbourne who had travelled over to NZ for two days to see the show! It was so exciting to see Wilco on stage with Neil Finn, Liam Finn, Lisa Germano, Phil Selway and Ed O'Brien, plus Johnny Marr, Bic Runga, Don Mcglashon (from the Muttonbirds) and KT Tunstall (we could have done without her, but she was OK. Especially with John Stirrat from Wilco on backing vocals and with Jeff Tweedy providing support on her rendition of Fake Plastic Trees). But as I said, there is far too much to write to start now!
