Excitations

I'm getting really excited by random songs at the moment. After listening to the Hottest 100 last week I was reminded of my intentions to (ahem) acquire a number of these songs and discovered a few more additional songs I wanted to own. If you have a look at my list (far left) you can see some of these objects of obsession. Until last year I never would have given the Yeah Yeah Yeahs a second listen. It must be a sign of changing tastes. Back in 2001 I used to love Art of Fighting and Sigur Ros but kind of went off them. Recently alternative rock and other high energy stuff has been getting more of a play. Also I never used to like hip hop but I'm finding myself getting into the Hilltop Hoods at the moment. The Gotye song is also fun. I think I'll stick a quote from it up on the blog next week.
