Music For Hot Days

It's stinking hot again this week. It's too hot to leave the house during the day, too hot at night to cool off the house, too hot to eat, too hot to sleep. It's an uncomfortable existence. Today during the black out I resorted to sitting in the dark listening to Kaki King. I read a preview of her gig online here which is quite interesting. Also found an article here about Madeleine Peyroux, who I'm seeing later in the week.

Also good for hot days- Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. I need to remember to book tickets on Friday morning...

Writing isn't happening much at the moment. I've been doing some reading of old material, but am not quite sure how the parts will fit together yet. Messing around with printed stuff and a notebook at the moment. I think I have the idea/s pinned down, it's just putting them in some sort of shape that will take the effort.
