I built my callouses up from fooling on the guitar

I'm on the Ivy League records email news list and a few weeks ago I entered a Josh Pyke competition coinciding with the release of his new album. You had to write about your favourite song on Memories and Dust in 25 words or less... I picked Fed and Watered because of the line about guitar callouses. Today I got an email saying I have won one of the prize packs which contains a signed poster, a rare live album and a calico bag. The live album was recorded at the Wesley Anne in Northcote. I never win anything so this is very exciting... another addition to my poster collection. Just awaiting that Shins poster from JB HiFi online (whenever it bloody arrives). The Wilco poster looks excellent in its frame, despite the lack of glass (thanks to me managing to break it within half an hour of buying it).
