A rather long article in Beat this week about The Shins, since they're touring at the moment. Have a read here if you want. I'm a bit regretful about not getting a ticket but the gigs are both mid week and I do need to save my sick leave for more worthy reasons. It would be great to see them playing their new material from Wincing the Night Away plus all the old favorites, but they've been here three times in recent years so I'm sure they will be back again. In the meantime I'll have to satisfy myself with Gotye next weekend! Tickets to his show are now rather hot property since all four of them have sold out.
