Everything Is Average Nowadays (not Gotye though)

My laptop's little red rubber pointy device thingy (whatever it's actually called) packed it in yesterday. I took it into the IT guys this morning and it took about 10 seconds to fix, but then in period 3 it decided to be temperamental for me. So after school it went back to the little IT office and five minutes later it was working again. I still have no idea what the hell it's doing but it's working now, which is all that matters. Anyway, that's my longwinded excuse for no blog entry.

Anyway, I was intending to do some music shopping on the weekend but did not have time to go into the city to do this. So it looks like this weekend I'll be wandering through JB HiFi looking at the Architecture in Helsinki album and possibly other stuff. I'd like to buy the Gotye remixed CD of Like Drawing Blood. What I've heard is great. It would be a fitting way to celebrate the gig on Saturday night at the Atheneum. I've got no idea what to expect... this is his first tour and he sits in his room and makes music all by himself, taking years to put all the instruments together. He's playing with an orchestra and some sort of sound/light show I believe (unless I'm confusing that with Sigur Ros which is possible). Anyway, much to look forward to! It's been a good few weeks since I saw a gig.
