In Rainbows

Yesterday when I got home from school I turned on the radio and Triple J were playing the new Radiohead album. It was perfect timing... they were just about to start track one, and it had just 'arrived at the studio' (ie: it had been downloaded by someone there, I assume). I listened to the lot throughout the afternoon and there were a few tracks I enjoyed. The second, sixth and eighth were particular stand outs, and the final track was also quite evocative. I can't wait to listen to it properly so I can absorb it in more depth. Radiohead albums are not ones you can drink in once and forget about, they require some thought and effort.

In other Triple J related news, apparently Triple M are chasing Myf Warhurst! This is terrible news. They're probably going to pay her far more money, but what will the rest of us do? Why can't they poach stupid Jay and the Doctor and leave Myf alone?

There is an article in Beat this week about Angus and Julia Stone. Thinking about buying their album, or at least asking for it for Christmas.
