Still Inrainbows

It's been a fairly good year for music. I have a list of albums which I consider 'top three' out of all my purchases, and will probably be able to compile a top ten by the end of the year. Somewhere in the list the new Radiohead album will have to appear... it's addictive, compulsive and wonderful. I've had it running in the background while writing job applications, reading and I'm sure I'll be listening to it on the train this Friday night as I try to have a nap. Tracks just keep jumping out... the opener 15 Steps is fantastic, as is the crazy second track Bodysnatchers which improves upon each listen. Other favourites include House of Cards, Reckoner and All I Need which are atmospheric, intense and yet also dream-like at times. Listening to Inrainbows makes me want to get out The Eraser again and pay close attention. It's living in my CD player at the moment and it will be for awhile longer, I'm sure.
