6. Rilo Kiley, Under the Blacklight
A complex album from a band who can't really be categorised. Mostly rock and pop with the occasional Latin influence. Highlights include the title track, Close Call, Silver Lining and Dejalo. The album is consistent, though and accessible. A rather obscure band but worth seeking out.
5. Kings of Leon, Because of the Times
I played this album many times during the Easter school holidays. Their most consistent effort so far and filled with great songs. The single On Call isn't the high point of the album... that comes through Fans, Arizona, True Love Way, Camaro, Knocked Up... There are some great rock tracks here and plenty to enjoy.
