40. True Love Way, Kings of Leon
It's so hard to pick the best songs from this album- it's so consistent, much more so than their previous efforts. It was a toss up between this track and about three others for a place on this list.
39. The Beast, Angus and Julia Stone
The single from their full length album which has indecipherable lyrics but a pretty cool tune nonetheless.
38. Silver Lining, Rilo Kiley
The opening track from Under the Blacklight which has a great chorus, showcasing the lead singer's voice exceptionally well.
37. Arizona, Kings of Leon
The final track from Because of the Times. A great note on which to end the album with a slow rock rhythm.
36. Forever Song, Josh Pyke
One of the highlights from Memories and Dust, and the second single. A sweet little pop track.
35. The Con, Tegan and Sara
The single from their album of the same name. A well constructed song with an intense chorus.
34. Shoebox, Kate Miller-Heidke
A fast-paced folk rock song which showcases her vocal talents very well. Very catchy.
33. Sealegs, The Shins
This song shows that The Shins can do pretty much anything well, including hip hop rhythms. A sign that they aren't going to go stale anytime soon.
32. Honey, The Commas
The lead singer of this band reminds me of Jeff Buckley but this band's music is decidedly different. Another song with a powerful chorus.
31. Out of the Fridge/Into the Fire, The Cops
This one definitely pays homage to When Doves Cry. The thunder noises in the background make this a great track to kick off their album.
