Mr Tambourine Man

After much frustration with trying to play a 'C' chord, not only did I find a song where the change to C is easier (House of the Rising Sun) but I managed to play the song we learnt in class without too many problems. Today we learnt to play a bass strum which is when you play the lowest note in the chord, then the rest of the strings. This is much more instinctive than the choke rhythm we've used and it gives you plenty of time to change chords as well. We played Mr Tambourine Man and it was the first lesson where I've come out feeling somewhat competent. Not totally competent, but it's a start.
