My Friend the Chocolate Cake

There's an interesting article in Beat this week (check it out here) about My Friend the Chocolate Cake. They're a Melbourne institution now, having played at many Port Fairy Folk Festivals and every other local venue you could imagine. I've never seen them live (another mid week show in St Kilda, sadly) but would love to do so one day. Anyway, definitely worth listening if you like folky stuff. Lots of orchestral instrumentals and David Bridie has a lovely voice. Sorry for my lack of long entries this week but work has been rather full on and stressful. I don't have much energy left at the end of the day for blogging.
